Our systems offer unique features leading the marketplace in surgery, urology, anesthesia and emergency medicine. BK Ultrasound USA operates in conjunction with its global subsidiaries located in Copenhagen Denmark, Shanghai China, Vancouver Canada and our world headquarters in Peabody Massachusetts, USA.  


    We have an immediate openings for full-time Field Service Engineers in our North West territory which includes Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Western Canada and Alaska. In this position you will work in a team environment and will act as the primary service engineer in supporting our customers along with our sales and clinical staff as needed. The ideal candidate will be versed in customer support, able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment and ideally have prior experience in medical imaging field service


    • Electronic technology/engineering degree or equivalent
    • Three or more years of related experience in medical imaging field service
    • Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail;
    • Commitment to a high level of customer service in a professional manner;
    • Ability to deal with difficult situations and demanding customers;
    • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks;
    • Logical thinker with proactive troubleshooting and critical problem-solving skills;
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a close team environment;
    • Strong technical abilities in hardware, software, and computer networking;
    • Must be competent with Microsoft operating systems;
    • Must be proficient with a Microsoft Office 365 environment;
    • Prior experience with DICOM Protocol is a plus;
    • Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly


    • Install and set up ultrasound equipment at a customer location for clinical use;
    • Test and configure the systems to insure proper clinical operation;
    • Perform recommended preventive maintenance, calibration, and certifications;
    • Utilizes service documents, diagnostic software, test instruments, imaging phantoms and Internet resources;
    • Instructs customers in servicing and repairing equipment, providing phone support and troubleshooting assistance as required;
    • Consults with in house personnel to resolve problems in system operation;
    • Advises our management team regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and makes suggestions for product improvements;
    • Ensures the highest level of service to customers consistent with company brands as an industry leader in ultrasound and ultrasound systems.
